Services & Production Techniques
We are pleased to introduce our competent services and production techniques in terms of primary cosmetic packaging. The two main types of raw materials include plastic and glass. Moreover, the most frequently used plastic material we utilize are ABS, AS, PP, PE, PET, PETG, acrylic and PCR materials. However, Amy Packaging is readily glad to help the clients find out the most appropriate materials for their brand and products.
1) Firstly, please confirm the material you want to use on the packaging;
2) Secondly, please confirm the diameter and the body length, the number of layers.
3) Thirdly, please confirm the color and finish;
4) Fourthly, please confirm the head, which relates with the cap lid, like disc-top, screw-on, flip-top, and push-on.
5) Fifthly, please confirm the orifice size and printings.
----------------------------------------------------------------Injection & blow molding--------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the two most popular methods of manufacturing excellent plastic products. the blowing molding technique can be also applied to glass products to form a hollow structure. Therefore, the key differences between these two methods lie in products type, process and molds halves size.
Injection molding:
--- more suitable for solid parts
--- cost more than blow molding
--- accurate and effective processing
Blow molding:
--- commonly used for the hollow and one-piece product with high product consistency
--- cost less than injection molding
--- completely customizable and scalable
-----------------------------------------------------------------Coloring Techniques----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are the explicit explanations of several coloring techniques that we adopt for packaging manufacturing.
1. Anodized aluminum treatment:
The beauty packaging is covered with a layer of anodized aluminum material to provide a metal and luxury texture.
2. UV Lacquering:
It includes a hard-wearing layer and cured by strong energy UV rays. The final products become more durable.
3. Injection Color:
Adding pigment to the raw plastic material while molding process to create various colors.
4. Metallization
Full metallization on plastic containers gives the elegance of a metal component without too much-added weight. This technique gives a product a shiny, faux-metal finish.
5. Patterned Metallization
We transform commonplace plastic into 3 stunning, premium-look finishes: Ice wedge, water drop, and holographic by optimizing the metallization process.
6. Fabric Touch
Adding a fabric touch to plastic is a groundbreaking decorative treatment of plastic PE tube production. It mimics the natural fabric texture and adds a warm touch to the hand for daily usage.
------------------------------------------------------------------Printing Technology--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are our representative printing methods including offset printing, flexo-printing, silk screen printing, labelling and hot stamping.
1. Offset printing
It is a commonly used printing technique and can print up to 8 colors including half-tone and gradation. Instead of using screens, offset printing uses plates to transfer ink onto the surface; it is flush with the surface of the plate; thus, offset is classified as a planographic method of printing.
2. flexo-printing
Flexo-print allows companies to create eye-catching packaging concepts that encompass the entire product.
3. Silkscreen printing
It decorates texts and patterns on product surface to create a thick, bold, and glossy finish. The decoration is suitable for all sorts of packaging components. Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto the product surface. The graphic is clear and waterproof.
4. Labelling
It provides multiple color decoration for flat or cylinder-shaped packaging components.
5. hot stamping
It can be also called foil stamping which is a printing method of relief printing in which pre-dried ink or foils are transferred to a surface at high temperatures. Amy Packaging brings hot stamping to its next level of metallic colors to enhancing luxurious brand image.
